This is an interesting Hapkido Documentary that also features Kyung Mu Kwan Headmaster Kim, Nam Jai at the HQ school in Seoul with members of our extended Hapkido family. It is perhaps to first feature of this beautiful Korean martial art on a major TV company that offers a glimpse into this lesser know Korean Martial Art. The system of Hapkido demonstrated in the documentary is as seen in all Kyung Mu Kwan affiliate schools globally.
Hapkido is a Korean Martial Arts system that evolved from Japanese Jiu-jitsu. Techniques taught in Hapkido include striking, joint locks, take-downs, pressure points, throws, kicking, and traditional weapons. The Kyung Mu Kwan system is a progressive approach that expands on modern applications of traditional techniques. The actors in this video provide an overview into traditional hapkido.
